our "Cheyenne Canyon Chalet"
nestled against the foothills of the Cheyenne Mountains in a neighborhood that was once known as the "Broadmoor Cabins."

As you enter, a large living room with cozy fire place greets you on the right . . .
book shelves rise to the ceiling on either side of the fireplace, while windows facing east and the deck greet the sun every morning - great spot for morning coffee!
(this room also has french doors for privacy for anyone using the pull out bed)

The "appliance area" of the kitchen is compact, so we added more counterspace into the dining area as shown above. Three panels of windows and a door open up to the back deck and "forest." There is a bathroom down the hall on this floor.
It is quite lush and pretty in the summer and equally beautiful in the winter. The back yard goes straight out to open space trails!
(we even had room for a wedding!)
The reservoir is a short hike up the road . . .
The "Master Bedroom" available is downstairs with a large closet (that some children like to make into a hideout - sparkley lights available). There is a bathroom with shower down the hall adjacent to the "teen room," below . . .

We love to gold to the Golden Bee at the Broadmoor for a great martinin . . . walking distance.
The Ivywild School project (ivywildschool.com) is a great new development just down Cheyenne Blvd and now houses the enlarged Bristol Brewery location, music venue, a charcuterie and The Principal's Office - a great bar that specializes in incorporating coffee into unique drink infusions...The Blue Star restaurant has fabulous food across the street also.
Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City have fun shops, restaurants and music (10 minutes away). The Pikes Peak Cog Railroad, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and, for the young at heart, Santa's Workshop. All just minutes away.
